Allen signed off as 'Cole coldForce Friendly Federal Assassin Allen' and apologized to his parents for 'saying I had an interview today without specifying it was for Most Wanted.' He apologized to his students for telling them he had a 'personal emergency.'
“Allen signed off as 'Cole coldForce Friendly Federal Assassin Allen' and apologized to his parents for 'saying I had an interview today without specifying it was for Most Wanted.' He apologized to his students for telling them he had a 'personal emergency.'”
Cole Allen's manifesto is structured as an email. It opens with apologies. It closes with a signature. The contents in between are a mix of cold operational planning and dark humor — and the dark humor is what's burning the internet.
Allen signed his manifesto: "Cole 'coldForce' 'Friendly Federal Assassin' Allen." The middle two phrases are quotation-marked nicknames he selected for himself. "coldForce" was his Bluesky handle. "Friendly Federal Assassin" was the title he chose to leave his family with.
To his parents: "I'm sorry for saying I had an interview today without specifying it was for 'Most Wanted.'" The line implies that earlier on Saturday, hours before charging the Hilton, Allen told his family he was traveling for a job interview. The "Most Wanted" punchline reframes that lie as a joke at his own expense.
To his students: he apologized for telling them he had a "personal emergency" that morning and noted that "by the time anyone read the email, he probably would need emergency care." Allen was a part-time tutor. He told his students an excuse to skip a session, then weaponized that excuse into a black-comedy line in the manifesto itself.
The same document that called Trump a "pedophile, rapist, and traitor" three times also contained this. Allen alternated between rage and gallows humor, sometimes within the same paragraph. The stylistic chaos is now its own object of analysis.
