Twitch streamer Hasan Piker posted 'what did she know 👀' on X within minutes of the WHCD shooting, implying Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had foreknowledge of the attack — referencing her red-carpet 'shots will be fired tonight' joke. His live stream caught him shouting 'Shots fired! What the fuck!' as the news broke.

Twitch's most-watched political streamer Hasan Piker (over 3M followers) was live-streaming reaction content during the WHCD when news of the shooting broke. The clip — captured on stream — shows him wide-eyed, shouting "Shots fired! What the fuck!" and pivoting to immediate analysis.
Within minutes, Piker posted on X: "what did she know 👀" — referring to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who had told a red-carpet reporter earlier in the evening that "there will be some shots fired tonight in the room." Leavitt was joking about Trump's planned roast humor. Piker's framing was instant: maybe she wasn't joking.
The conservative media outlet Twitchy ran a piece titled "Hasan Piker Discovers Time Travel" — turning the streamer's foreknowledge speculation into a meme. The framing locked in within an hour of the shooting: the left was pivoting to "false flag / inside job" before the shooter had even been named.
Mia Farrow on Bluesky implied Trump staged the attack. Hasan Piker on X implied Leavitt knew. Other left-aligned commentators pivoted similarly. The right amplified each post as receipts that the left would never accept a Trump-as-victim narrative — even one with a manifesto, two handguns, and an injured Secret Service agent.
The Piker tweet exists. The Leavitt red-carpet quote exists. The connection between them — whether genuine foreknowledge speculation or political reflex — is not provable from the artifacts alone. What is provable: the left's instinct in the first hour after the shooting was to ask what the administration knew.
