“Newly released Epstein files shed light on Zorro Ranch, his 10,000-acre New Mexico property where victims described abuse, underground areas, and connections to New Mexico political figures.”
While much attention focused on Epstein's Manhattan townhouse and Caribbean island, his 10,000-acre Zorro Ranch in New Mexico may hold the darkest secrets of all.
The Guardian reported in February 2026 that newly released Epstein files shed significant new light on activities at Zorro Ranch. Victims described abuse at the property and referenced underground areas that have never been fully investigated.
Epstein cultivated relationships with New Mexico political figures and institutions, including donations to scientific research programs. The ranch was also where he reportedly discussed his plans for "seeding the human race" — a eugenics program he openly discussed with scientists.
Unlike Little St. James, Zorro Ranch is on US soil and fully within the jurisdiction of US law enforcement. The question of why it was never properly searched remains unanswered.
